This site is run and maintained by Tastebuds Media Ltd.

Use of this site is limited to individuals who must be at least 18 years old and is intended for adult Members to communicate with each other online.

We do not accept profiles from married Members who are seeking an affair, or from Members who wish to use the site for commercial purposes. If you have been convicted of any offence (or are subject to any court order) specifically relating to assault, violence, sexual misconduct or harassment you cannot use the Services.

By ticking the box next to the "I have read and agree to the Terms of Service" text on the Registration Page, and submitting the form, you accept and agree to the terms and conditions detailed on the web site. Every time you access this service you confirm your agreement with the Terms and Conditions.

The Terms and Conditions are personal to you. You may not assign your rights or obligations to anyone. If any provision in these Terms and Conditions is invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, such provision will be inapplicable, but the remaining provisions of this agreement will continue in full force and effect.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Company, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, partner sites and third parties, from any loss, claim or damage, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or resulting from your use of this site. This includes any violation of the Terms and Conditions of this agreement or any action arising from the content that you publish on this site that infringes the intellectual property rights (which include without limitation copyright, trade secrets, trademark or patent) of any third party or content or communication that denigrates, libels or invades the privacy of any third party.

  1. 1. Parties

    These terms and conditions cover the supply of services by Tastebuds Media Ltd. (The Company) to You.

  2. 2. Content

    You alone are responsible for any content or information you enter on your profile and any communication with other Members. The Company is not the publisher and only provides the channel for Members to publish and/or distribute their personal information.

    No responsibility is assumed by The Company for the publication of any Member's information, including pictures published by Members. While it is incumbent on the Member to decide on what information the Member wishes to make available to other Members or other Internet users, The Company reserves the right to exercise editorial control over profile and picture content.

    The Company does not verify the accuracy or truth of any information published by Members. Be careful in dealing with other Members.

    You may not publish offensive content, this includes content that contains offensive language, overtly sexually explicit content (including photographs), is unlawful, threatening, libellous, abusive, harmful, bigoted, racially offensive, obscene or harassing. Further you may not publish content that encourages behaviour that may constitute a criminal offence, result in civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law or regulation.

    Photographs: The content of your private photos may not contain illegal, inflammatory or grossly obscene material. It will be at the Company's sole discretion to delete content if so deemed. The Company does not warrant the suitability of a Member's photos nor will we become involved in correspondence regarding their suitability.

    You may not publish content (including photographs) that directly or indirectly alludes to child pornography or attempts to solicit communication with or on behalf of any person under the age of 18.

    Whilst The Company reserves the right to delete or remove content deemed offensive by The Company, The Company does not guarantee that offensive material will be removed or deleted. Failure by The Company to remove or delete offensive content does not waive our right to remove or delete offensive content in subsequent or similar cases.

    You may not publish content that contains advertising or commercial messages. You may not send messages of a commercial nature to other Members via the site.

    You may not impersonate any other person or entity.

    You may not publish in your profile any personal contact information. This includes but is not restricted to, email addresses, telephone numbers, instant messaging contact details (e.g. ICQ numbers, etc) web site URLs, etc. Personal contact information will be removed.

    You may not solicit other Members' contact details or disclose your subscription status in your profile.

    By creating a profile you grant Tastebuds Media Ltd. permission to publish your profile (including picture) whether accessed by the internet, digital television, PDA, mobile phone or otherwise.

    The Company reserves the right to be able to use screenshots or similar images of pages featured throughout the service, including the Member screen name and photo(s) and use these for general promotional purposes, for example, but not limited to, a corporate brochure, or presentation or screenshot / image. By creating a profile you grant The Company permission to publish your profile in such a fashion.

  3. 3. Account and password details

    The Member is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Member name and password.

  4. 4. Copyrighted material

    You may not post material belonging to a third party on the site without permission from them. This includes but is not limited to photographs, images and text. Should you believe that material belonging to a third party has been posted on the site you are requested to contact The Company with full details of the alleged copyright infringement including the Member username and your contact details.

  5. 5. Harassment and disputes

    You may not harass any Member. You must agree to cease contacting any other Member who has requested you to cease.

    The Company will not become involved in any domestic or private disputes between Members and does not provide any arbitration or settlement services should a dispute arise between Members.

    You alone are responsible for ensuring that your interaction with other Members is lawful. The Company advises you that there may be risks of dealing with Members acting under false pretences or with criminal intent.

    The Company cannot control what happens between Members once they decide to meet in person, however should you encounter behaviour that may be deemed harmful to other Members you are requested to contact The Company with as much detail as possible. All complaints are treated in confidence, and will be resolved by a senior member of our support team as quickly as possible. If deemed appropriate at the sole discretion of The Company, we may warn, suspend or delete a Member's profile.

    If you need to report an attack, a missing person, or if you feel that your safety is at immediate risk, we advise you to contact the police immediately.

  6. 6. Member communications

    While you may exchange any information you wish in replies and subsequent messages, messages to Members who have not previously contacted you may not contain email addresses or other contact information. The company does not review or censor other message content, but it reserves the right to remove contact details, or any content deemed to cause offence from introductory messages.

    You alone are responsible for ensuring that message content is appropriate.

  7. 7. Content visibility

    Member profiles from this site may also be visible (where applicable) on other network sites operated by the Company. This substantially increases the reach of your profile and the chances of finding a successful match.

  8. 8. Content storage

    The Company assumes no responsibility for the deletion of or failure to store your content, including profile details and photographs.

  9. 9. Member privacy

    Save as set out in our privacy policy, The Company will not disclose any personal details supplied by Members that is not publicly displayed on the Member's Profile (this includes the Member's name, email address contact details, etc) without the Member's prior written consent.

  10. 10. Service provision

    This service is provided on an "as-is" basis by The Company without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of title and the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

  11. 11. Modifications to terms and conditions

    The Company may modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time in its sole discretion and/or to take account of new legislation, statutory instruments, Government Regulations, Licences, similar matters and for any other reason. Any such variation shall be published on this site.

  12. 12. Legal venue

    This agreement will be governed by the laws of England and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

  13. 13. Rights of third parties

    A person who is not a party to this Agreement has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to rely upon or enforce any term of this Agreement but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists or is available apart from that Act.

  14. 14. Severability

    If any provision in these Terms and Conditions is deemed to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions will continue in full force without being impaired or invalidated in any way.

  15. 15. Entire agreement

    This agreement, which includes the privacy policy, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties pertaining to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes in their entirety any and all written or oral agreements previously existing between the parties with respect to such subject matter.

Tastebuds Privacy Policy

Tastebuds.fm (the "Site"), operated solely by Tastebuds Media Ltd. ("we" or "us"), respects the privacy of our users and has developed this privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") to articulate our commitment to protecting your privacy.

The Privacy Policy is intended to describe for you, as an individual who is a user of the Site or of the services offered on the Site (collectively with the Site, the "Services"), the information we collect, how that information may be used, with whom it may be shared, and your choices about such uses and disclosures.

We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully when using the Services. By accessing the Services, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, fully accept, and will abide by this Privacy Policy.

The Services are currently under intense development and different aspects of the Services will be deployed over the coming months. Some parts of this Privacy Policy refer to functions of the Services that have not yet been implemented or deployed. Once such functions are available for use, by accessing and continuing to use the Services thereafter, you agree that those parts of the Privacy Policy shall go into effect.

  1. 1. Information collected

    When you register as a Member and set up a profile certain information is required. This includes personally identifiable information such as your name and email address. This information is stored on our systems, but NO personally identifiable information is ever displayed in your public profile or included in any communication between Members sent via the site.

  2. 2. Updating your information

    You can freely update all of your personal information including username, email address, location, password and all profile details. We encourage you to keep your details up to date.

  3. 3. Your password

    It is vital that you keep your password safe to prevent unauthorised access to your personal information. If you believe that your password has been compromised for any reason please CHANGE it immediately.

  4. 4. Cookies

    A cookie is a piece of data stored on your hard drive that allows us to recognise your computer from one page access to the next. We use persistent cookies in order to keep you logged in to the site after you close your browser. We therefore recommended logging out of the site on shared computers after use. If you configure your browser to reject cookies, you may still use some, but not all, portions of our site. For example, the login process and all member functionality requires that your browser accept cookies.

  5. 5. Deleting your information

    You have the option to hide your profile at any time which will remove it from public view on our system. If you would like to permanently delete your account please visit the Settings page of the site. Deletion will permanently remove your photos and profile information from our database. Support enquiries sent to us may be stored on file.

  6. 6. Internal use of information

    We may internally use your information to improve our services, analyse site usage, optimise content, etc. This will only be conducted by authorised staff members of Tastebuds.fm. We may use personally identifiable information to troubleshoot problems and implement our terms and conditions.

  7. 7. Disclosure of your information

    Our general disclosure policy is as follows:

    • We will not disclose any of your information without your permission.
    • We will not supply any Member's details to any other Member - please don't even ask us.
    • We will not sell or rent or give your information to any third party unless you give us permission to do so.
    • We will only disclose your information if legally obligated to do so by a statutory authority with the appropriate jurisdiction.
  8. 8. Personal correspondence

    Correspondence sent to us including emails and letters will be stored on file with access limited to our authorised staff members.

  9. 9. No spam policy

    You will receive essential service related emails from us and you may receive anonymous emails from other Members. You will only receive emails from Tastebuds.fm that relate to other services or offerings if you have expressly opted in to receive such communications. If you do opt in to receive such communications, Tastebuds.fm may analyse your profile information in order to send you information about those services or offerings that Tastebuds.fm believes may be of most interest to you.

  10. 10. Security

    Our technical teams do their utmost to ensure the security of our systems. Internet Security is a complex topic and no system can be considered 100% secure. Should a security breach occur we would endeavour to react as fast as possible to remedy the problem. However we cannot assume responsibility for Member details compromised in the unlikely event of a security breach.

  11. 11. Changes to this policy

    If we make material changes to our privacy policy, these changes will be posted to our privacy policy page. You should review this page regularly for updates.
