Laskoviy Mai (Russian: Ласковый май) is a legendary Soviet prefab boy group, from Moscow, that toured the Soviet Union with a number of vocalists, most notably Yuri Shatunov (Russian: Юрий Шатунов). History Laskoviy Mai is a well-known group in the history of Soviet pop and disco. The group was created in the middle of 1980s, Sergei Kuznetsov decided to create a group of Musicians with orphan children from an orphanage in Orenburg.
