Amy Linnea Deasismont (born 15 April, 1992 in Norrköping, Sweden), is a Swedish pop singer. She was born in Norrköping but lived in the UK until she was four and a half. Her first television performance was in an episode of the Swedish music-talent series "Småstjärnorna" (The Small Stars) in 2000. Amy's first album This Is Me Now (May 18th 2005) was released when she was only 12 years old. "What's In It For Me", "Welcome To The City" and "Shooting Star" became a big success. 120.000 copies of "This is me now" were sold in Sweden. Under her current management, she has been on a top 1 position in Sweden for 6 weeks during the summer of 2005. The same year she won the NRJ Radio Awards, the Nickelodeon Kids Choice and the Nordic Hit Music Awards. Amy's second album "Still Me Still Now" sold gold before it was in the shops. "Don't Cry Your Heart Out", "Big Guns" and "It Can Only Get Better" are the albums singles. Amy's third album, "Music In Motion", was released 28th of November. A single called "Is It Love?" was released 26th of September 2007. Amy was the youngest participant ever on Melodifestivalen when she made the Final of the 2008 edition. She was 15 at the time and could enter Melodifestivalen as she would've been 16 by the time that she performed at Eurovision in May for Sweden. Amy finished 8th out of 10 in he Melodifestivalen final. Amy's family consists of father Lee from the UK, Swedish mother Chrisbeth and her three sisters Lisa, Danielle and Holly. Amy's dogs are named Penny and Pixie. Amy is now host for the children's tv-show "Bulldog". Official homepage
