About Arts and Decay

German indie rock band that released records between 1988 and 1993. In the early years their music was marked by punk and dark wave with use of a drum machine. They gained first attention with their song "Mescal". The core line-up consisted of: Roger Ingenthron (Roger Thorn) - git, vox Michael Halberstadt - git, vox E.-L. Hesky - synth, drum programming Markus Weilemann - bass to be completed by Mike Bellum and Max Payne for drums on later recordings.
