Meet people through music
Bedlight for Blue Eyes were a post-hardcore/pop-rock band from Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. They released two albums, 2005's The Dawn and 2007's Life On Life's Terms, both on the Trustkill Records label. Their debut album remains one of the label's highest selling albums of all time despite little to no radio or video support. At the time they announced hiatus, the lineup of the band was: Derek (Guitar), Chris (Drums), Joe (Bass), Dan (Guitar), and Danny (Vocals). The band has featured a revolving door of musicians over the years, starting with original guitarist Justin leaving the band during the promotional tour for their debut album (replaced by Dan) . Shortly after, original singer Christian left the band amidst tensions with the other members of the band (replaced by Danny). During the recording of the band's second album, original bass player James was dismissed for not contributing to the recording and replaced by Joe. In early 2008, founding member Itchy left the band after he moved to New York, and was replaced by former Vampire for Hire drummer Chris. On Oct. 31, 2008, they announced they would be going on an "indefinite hiatus" through a Myspace Blog. They announced that a final show would be played in their home state of New Jersey on January 23, 2009 at School of Rock in South Hackensack, a venue that they helped popularize.
