About Baseado Em Blues
Blues band that emerged in Rio de Janeiro in 1992, formed by the harmonica player and vocalist Andrew Jefferson Gonçalves Bushing, began playing in small clubs in Rio, even a show at the Flying Circus. Then had some resonance with a demo tape sent to Radio Fluminense, which opened a space for the blues in your schedule. In 1996 came the first album, "Based on Blues," on the record label Velas Space Music, with classic blues and original compositions. They toured through Brazil before entering the studio to record their second CD, "Late Night Blues," whose music was all original, except for the cover of "Old Colorful Clothes," Belchior success in the voice of Elis Regina. On this record still counted with the participation of Celso Blues Boy, who they toured with shortly after. In 2000 a recording from a gig at Mistura Fina (RJ) became the live album "A Based on Acoustic Blues" (Blues Time Records).
