Meet people through music
Cameron "Big Chocolate" Argon (born August 21, 1990 in Laguna Hills, CA) is an American DJ, producer, remixer, and death metal vocalist. He is the co-founder of the death metal band Disfiguring The Goddess and has also performed lead vocals with Malodorous and Burning the Masses on their album Offspring of Time. He toured Europe with Burning the Masses on the "Legacy of Blood" tour alongside Suffocation. Shortly afterward, a representative at Century Media Records requested him to remix "Disengage" by Suicide Silence. Argon accepted the offer and found that he loved the freedom and creativeness remixing allowed and began focusing all his efforts on the entire EDM scene. Shortly afterward, he released his first and second EPs, First Degree Revolution and Shacka Brah, in 2010. At the time, he was still in college and was creating music for the fun of it. It wasn't until late summer 2010 that he decided not to enroll for the upcoming fall semester and concentrate on music full-time. After mixing "Disengage," Argon struck up a friendship with the band and Suicide Silence vocalist Mitch Lucker, with whom he formed Commissioner, an extreme industrial metal project. Commissioner had released two tracks before releasing their debut EP, one featuring Whitechapel frontman Phil Bozeman entitled "Click Click Flash," and the other being "Consume," which marked the debut release by the duo. They released their first EP, What Is?, on March 21, 2011. Argon continued to receive remix opportunities and released his third EP, I'm Shot EP. Big Chocolate's EDM style consists of various styles from dubstep to drum and bass. His most recent release was the HiLion EP. He took part on some of Dance Gavin Dance's Downtown Battle Mountain 2011 tour in the spring with support from iwrestledabearonce, In Fear and Faith, Close To Home, and Just Like Vinyl until he needed to drop off the tour due to illness. He also played the entire Warped Tour during the same year.
