About Brotherhood
There are at least seven groups called Brotherhood. 1. A 1980's Straight-Edge Hardcore Band From Seattle,Washington. Featured Nate Mendel, later of Sunny Day Real Estate and Foo Fighters and Greg Anderson of Thorr's Hammer, Sunn O))) and Southern Lord Records. 2. The Brotherhood were a 1990's underground hip-hop group based out of the United Kingdom. They released 3 EP's; "XXIII" (1993) , "Elementalz" (1996), and a rare release named "Dungeon Town". They were a very slept on group and are very well known throughout the underground world of hip-hop. 3. Brotherhood is a Pagan Folk Metal band from Slovakia, formed in 2008. Line-up: Reborn (vocals, texts) and Arkonian (music). They are going to record their debut album in autumn/winter 2009. 4. Brazilian power metal band. Formed in 2010, Eduardo Ribeiro(Guitar), Evandro Ribeiro(bass), William Pardo(Vocals), Paulo Guilherme (Drums) e Otávio Silveira(Guitar). Power metal full energy, inspired by Blind Guardian, Savatage e Metallica. 5. British grime duo. Brotherhood are a sibling duo from Ipswich Town including members Menace (the younger brother) and Blaze (the older). Originating from grime, they like to think themselves versatile and indulge in Hip Hop (as well as other genres) just as much. Formed in 2006, strictly as a hobby and treated as something to do in their spare time, Brotherhood never even dreamed of the things that were set to happen. In 2010, they caught the eye of some big names in the Grime scene (Ice, Dot Rotten, Wiley, Maxsta etc) and ever since have been spending their time finding themselves and drawing out "the masterplan". Today, they believe they are ready and are putting everything into pursuing their career in the music industry. From featuring on media mogul Jamal Edwards' YouTube channel "SBTV", to touring with chart topper Wiley, Brotherhood are breaking the barriers that seem to have been surrounding their small town for so long. They are now also a part of the MINARMY Media Group (Music Inspiration Network Army) alongside founder Dot Rotten but otherwise are completely independent. Brotherhood have a bright future ahead of them and a fast-growing fan base to ensure it! 6. A previous group called Brotherhood existed in the late 1960s, formed by three ex-Paul Revere & the Raiders', guitarist Drake Levin, bassist Phil Volk, and drummer Mike Smith. The trio along with keyboardist Ron Collins, released two albums for RCA Records which are fine examples of late sixties pop psych. Upon release of their second album, "Brotherhood Brotherhood", the group along with Flying Burrito bassist Chris Etheridge and session drummer Jim Gordon, released the highly experimental psychedelic Friend Sound "Joy Ride". Ongoing contractual difficulties with their prior group prevented Brotherhood from getting more recognition which led to the afformentioned Friend Sound project and Levin becoming a successful studio musician backing the likes of Emitt Rhodes and Harry Nillson. 7. A gothic rock band from Sweden.
