About Clint
Clint is a rock band. "We define oruselves as film-like rock", says Harry Callahan. Clint is four-piece band, like table legs, the number of weeks in a month or the amount of albums they will sell. "We're worried about what we do, not about what we sell", says Harry the strong. The first Clint album is called Alégrame el día is released by Siesta Records. "There's no paradox, the most convetional record label became the most ecclectic and risky label, they released a complicated album in a complicated time", says Harry the enforcer. But Alégrame el día is not a collective delirium. Contrary to what it may seem, is an instrumental pop record. Like the ventures without grease, a cleaner dirty three or a less frontier-oriented morricone. "We've always listened, basically, to sung music, so now we feel like a child who's found the colour palette for the first time. We don't feel we have the same limits as the convetional song, moreover, we try to distort it, to put it upside-down?, says dirty Harry. But they are not alone. They had the collaboration of a bunch of young musicians, Lydia, Berta, Diana and Álvaro played stings, and José Luis, Bassist from the mythical spanish band Camela, who changed the four strings for the accordion and the tuba. Alégrame el día is the calm and the storm. And the best of all is that to enjoy it you only have to sit on your favourite side of the sofa, grab your favourite drink and turn the volume up.
