About Grace
So far there are at least eleven artists/albums using the name Grace. 1) 90's dance act featuring Paul Oakenfold, Steve Osborne, and Dominique Atkins. 2) Swedish synthpop group active in the 1980's. Their single "Ingen Kan Älska Som Vi" was the title track to the movie with the same name and a big hit in Sweden. 3) Five-piece rock band based in Shepherd's Bush, London. 4) Death metal act from Hranice, Czech Republic. 5) English Prog Rock group. 6) An experimental/alternative rock band from The Hague, The Netherlands. 7) A Japanese singer who sang the opening to the anime Happy Lesson aswell as others. 8) Jeff Buckley's Grace album 9.) A Japanese pop-punk group on the Snuffy Smile label fronted by Kaori Yoshida, also of My Winter Jane, Tami, and The Happening. 10) A rock band from Adelaide, Australia 11) A band from Newcastle upon Tyne, metal core/hardcore band with Ex - Jinn/Break It Up and Spitfire Down members 12) A Russian singer 13) An Australian teen soul/pop singer. The first is a nineties dance act produced by Paul Oakenfold and Steve Osbourne with vocals by Dominique Atkins and Patti Low. The group's biggest hit, 1995's top-20 "Not Over Yet" was covered by The Klaxons. They released an album in 1996 called "If I could fly", but broke up in 1997 after Oakenfold's touring schedule did not allow him to attend recording sessions. The second is a five-piece rock band based in Shepherd's Bush, London. The group's debut single, "Stand Still" was released in November of 2006 with an album, Detours following soon after. This group have now split up. The third Grace is a death metal act from Hranice, Czech Republic. Fourth group is an English progressive rock group who released a number of albums in the '90s. They still appear live in small venues. The sixth Grace (http://www.gracemusic.nl) is an experimental/alternative rock band from The Hague, Holland, who started in 2008. Their first EP is released september 5th 2009.
