One of the most attractive eminences of Huckleberry Finn is their alluring voice of female vocal with strong charisma. "18th Wednesday", the first record released in 1998 with Nam Sang Ah, the previous vocal is now part of another band named "Line #3 Butterfly." Starting the 2nd album, Lee So Young joined Huckleberry Finn as main female vocal. She is famous of her neutral voice color and her powerful singing at live concerts. Songs in "18th Wednesday" can be categorized as Grunge or Alternative. Distinctive quality of Huckleberry Finn's music world as well as outstanding completion of the album was a great hit with profound lyrics that throbbed people's heart. Huckleberry Finn was a sensation among Indi bands. This album ranked 86 of "100 Korean Best Pop Song albums of 20th century," which was assessed by critics and executives of music industry. The quality of music is growing and due to Violin and Viola functioned as key part of a few songs, Huckleberry Finn got to pursue their own distinctive music different from other Indi bands. A Short Introduction Swallow is Solo project band that Lee Ki Young has organized in 2003. Lee Ki Young had a chance to make the music of minimal funk rock come true by chance when waiting for Huckleberry Finn's third album. As a government organization, Korea Culture Contents National Editorial Association supports the production of the Indi Rock music and Lee Ki Young was selected. He went into production right away and after six months, presented the album 'Sun Insane'. This album was widely supported by critics, manias and fans with great appraisal. Lee Ki Young wanted to present a more personal and private music than the music of Huckleberry Finn in 'Sun Insane'. This album has its characteristic, which shows a very lyrical sense with melancholy feel in overall. Lyrics mainly talking about personal depression and alienation were presented only through Elec guitar and vocal, Guitar and Violin and sometimes in just piano and vocal. Through these reductions in the use of instruments maximizes the sadness and private sense of the music. Through small, but solid musical success, Swallow is preparing for their second album that will probably arrive at the end of this year. 2.
