About Infinite Scale
Infinite Scale is a producer, DJ, broadcaster, and musician. Infinite Scale's releases have been played on radio stations across the planet, and his plays on LastFm, Myspace and Youtube total well over 300,000. Scale started making music in 1997 with an Ensonic EPS 16+ 2mb sampler, which he still uses in his studio set up to this day. Soon after he started making music he met his on / off musical partner and soul brother Bobby Friction, and the socio-musical-political madness of ECOSTANI was born. Ecostani occupied a space in the music industry all on their own, they toured and sessioned all around Europe for many years, they are still known to bust out a rare and special performance just when no one is expecting it. For Infinite Scale the solo artist, the last 14 years have seen albums, Eps and singles on such electronica homestays as Toyronic and Rednetic. He has also been commissioned to compose music for the BBC, both on radio and TV, and has done sessions for the late great Breezeblock on Radio 1, and at Maida Vale for The Blue Room. Nowadays Scale's live sets are a crowd friendly spectacle - no laptops here, he plays each part of his compositions LIVE using keyboards, drum machines and samplers. He has played full on dance sets at The Glade and Glastonbury festivals, as well as his more downtempo material in tents at Bestival and The Hayward Gallery. He has packed out bars, clubs, tents and houses across London, Bristol, Brighton, Sheffield and further a field in Barcelona, Prague, Paris, Hamburg, and Berlin. His radio show, The Phonocopy Experience on Westside Radio 89.6fm has grown in popularity over the last few years as a stand out show for his diverse musical choices and vinyl-only ethos. The show is a perfect platform for a record collection spanning 30 years and 20 metres.
