About James Dymond
Technically gifted, James has grown up on background of being classically trained in the Piano, excelling seamlessly at a young age and effortlessly presenting his pedigree of musical talent in various public performances. Picking up music production by late 2010, James had switched from acoustic to electronic music and found his first release in April 2011. The next couple of months several tracks were snapped up and released by various labels, with his highly supported benchmark track, 'System Situation' on Mondo Records - generating a platform from which to excel. Driven by a passion to produce high quality music, James' productions were steaming ahead and just 4 months after his first release, James approached Armada Music - arguably the biggest trance label on the planet - to sign his best production to date, 'Gundam'. Armada quoted this as "an anthem in its own right" and subsequently, Armin Van Buuren himself handpicked the track to appear on his infamous 'Universal Religion' series, making it on to CD2 of Volume 5 alongside some of the world's biggest producers. Since then, James' name has been appearing on a number of highly rated releases. In November 2011, an unofficial uplifting remix of 'Ralphie B - Massive' was shortly snapped up and released by Blackhole Recordings 'In Trance we Trust' imprint, February 2012. Gaining support from just about every top DJ in the industry, landing this monster a top 20 Beatport hit. James has been no stranger to the Beatport Trance top 100. March 2012 saw his first 4 track EP released on Dash Berlin's imprint of Armada, 'Aropa Records', titled 'Signify'. Following that, the emotionally charged 'Overthrow' was picked up by Arisa Audio - a huge uplifting track with an epic orchestral breakdown. It was subsequently remixed by one of the world's most respected producers, Protoculture, and was chosen to feature on Armin Van Buuren's 'A State of Trance 2012' CD. With no sign of slowing down, May 2012 saw the release of a 2 track E.P on Armada Music's 'Soundpiercing' sub label. The memorizing A Side named 'Paladin' gave James perhaps his most appraised production so far. Premiered on A State of Trance 558, it was chosen as the elite 'Track Of The Week' with Van Buuren quoting, "If you were to look up uplifting in dictionary I'm sure you'll find James Dymond - Paladin in there somewhere!" Gaining the attention of record labels across the globe, James is in high demand for remix work and is mixing with some well established industry names - artists such as Paul Webster, Talla 2XLC, Bryan Kearney and Indecent Noise. Not failing to deliver, these remix's set for release have had huge promotional feedback and will surely leave the Trance scene asking for more. The music doesn't stop there. As much of a producer, James is also a highly skilled DJ with an incredibly flowing and precise mixing style. You can expect energetic Progressive, Uplifting and Tech Trance to fill the dance floor with of course a number of James' productions thrown into the mix.
