Jonathan Boulet is an Australian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, currently based in Berlin, Germany but originally from northern Sydney, New South Wales. He is best known for his solo material, as well as his time spent playing drums in indie rock band Parades and bass in grindcore band Snakeface. After spending his formative years in a variety of bands, Boulet turned his attention to solo work in 2008. His debut self-titled album, recorded in Boulet's garage almost entirely on his own, came out in December 2009. Its singles were "A Community Service Announcemment" and "North to South East to You." Boulet's second album, "We Keep the Beat, Found the Sound, See the Need, Start the Heart," was released in June 2012. Its singles were "You're a Animal" and "This Song is Called Ragged." In 2013, Boulet relocated to Berlin. While there, he recorded his third studio album. The album, Gubba, was released in July 2014 via Popfrenzy Records.
