there are at least two bands called Juba: 1 - JUBA is the capital of South Sudan. It's also the name of the band of João, Joel, Miguel and Tomás, four young talents that had already shown what they could do with the bedroom projects Tropical Tobacco and Colour is a Common Mistake. After touring through the country and making their presence felt in varied festivals such as Milhões de Festa, Red Bull Tour Bus and Vodafone Mexefest, the band is taken under the wing of the label pontiaq and introduces us to their debut album "Mynah". 2 - Juba is a band formed in 1998 from the Tri-Cities, WA. Formed by Tim Leingang on guitar/vocals, Phill Prater on bass and Brandon Leavitt on drums.
