About Kari Kimmel
Kari's story is one of extreme hard work and intense passion. Originally from Boca Raton, Florida, Kari Kimmel moved to Los Angeles to pursue her love of music. Since then, she has done everything from writing, recording and co-producing her own music to placing her songs in over 200 film and tv shows and has also been named one of the top 50 artists on VH1.com. Kari's songs and voice have been featured in film and television shows such as: Shall We Dance, Footloose, The Hills, White Chicks, Greek, The Gilmore Girls, 10 Things I Hate About You, WALL-E, The Young and the Restless, Ella Enchanted, Dreamgirls, The Office, The Bold & The Beautiful, Life Unexpected, America's Funniest Home Videos, Pretty Little Liars and Burn Notice to name a few. Her songs have also been used in promos and trailers for the shows House, 90210 Private Practice, and Grey's Anatomy and films Nights in Rodanthe and Free Willy 4. Kari has also had on camera performances on the show "The Middle" as well as "The Voice" singing backup for Florence and the Machine. Kari has released 4 solo albums: A Life in the Day, Pink Balloon, Out of Focus and her latest album "Go". She can also be heard on the Tinkerbell, Princess Disneymania, WALL-E, and Ella Enchanted Soundtracks. Kari has performed live on the Adam Corolla & Danny Bonaduce radio show, the Conway & Whitman radio show, NBC Los Angeles and FOX Primeticket and has performed at many exciting events such as Dodger Games, a benefit hosted by Prince Edwards of Wales and the Greek Theater where she closed the show for the 2010 AIDS/ HIV walk in Los Angeles. Kari's music videos have also had some great exposure. She Sang the theme song and performed the music video for the movie "Ella Enchanted", seen on Radio Disney and the Ella Enchanted DVD. Kari's music video "Low" was used as the promo for the show Private Practice, and her music video "Trouble" has been featured on Oxygen and NBC Los Angeles. In addition, Kari's songs have also been recorded by artists such as The Backstreet Boys, Ke$ha, Joe Jonas, Demi Lovato and Gloria Gaynor. Kari's album "Go" which released end of 2011 is already being heard in numerous films and tv shows.
