About Lazy Habits
Originally the brainchild of one MC, Lazy Habits now stand as an eight piece live Hip Hop band. Merging elements of hip hop inc Decks (DJ Itchi) Rhymes (MC Lazy and Skin Horse) and Wandan, one of the UK finest Beatboxers, with a live band inc Drums, Bass, and a jazz based Brass Section. Lazy Habits have performed at London's best clubs from Cargo to Koko and the Jazz Café. They have also headlined their own sold out nights at the Water Rats and prestigious Marquee Club, and have smashed up venues across the UK, sharing stages with the likes of Sway (MOBO Award winner 2005); Akala (MOBO Award winner 2006); The Magic Numbers; Desmond Decker; Soulwax; The Heritage Orchestra and the Foreign Beggars among others. Having already played some of the best festivals across the UK and Ireland inc Glastonbury, Big Chill, Edinburgh Fringe, Electric Picnic, Endorse-It and Secret Garden, Lazy Habits still continue to push the boundaries of the music they produce both in the studio and on stage placing a huge emphasis on their live shows, incorporating guest MC's, Beatboxers and Freestyle sections with the brass and bass led band seamlessly switching from track to track like a DJ.
