Bandgründung 2003. Im Frühling 2005 erschien die EP "Gabriel", im November 2006 der erste Longplayer "Dare To Dream" mit sieben eigenen Songs und diversen Remixen, u.a. von Blutengel, Accesssory und Cephalgy. Am 26.09.2008 erschien der zweite Longplayer "Man Machine", produziert von Dirk Steyer (Accessory). Das Album hielt sich 8 Wochen lang in den GEWC (German Web Electronic Charts) und konnte Platz 1 erreichen. Große Beachtung erhielt "Man Machine" in diversen Print- und Onlinemagazinen sowie bei vielen Webradiostationen (HaZZard of Darkness, R1 Live, Schwarze Welle u.v.m.). Die DJ Promotion vor Release von "Man Machine" mit den beiden Clubmixen "Changes" und "Soulfoe" erzielten einen respektablen Erfolg und fanden ihren Platz in den Setlisten diverser DJ's in Deutschland und den umliegenden Nachbarländern. 2009 beginnen Lost Area mit der Produktion zum dritten Album "Memoria" und konnten dafür den Produzenten Gerrit Thomas (Funker Vogt) gewinnen. Gereifte Sounds, anspruchsvolle Texte mit der starken Produktion lassen "Memoria" endgültig aus den Schatten der einfachen und simplen elektronischen Musik heraus treten. Mit Echozone wurde Anfang 2010 ein neues Label gefunden was das Potenzial der Band erkannte. Support Gigs u.a. : Cephalgy, Scream Silence, The Cruxshadows, And One, Project Pitchfork, Rotersand, SITD --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lost Area was founded in 2003, and in the spring of 2005 the EP titled "Gabriel" was released. In November 2006 they released their first CD, titled "Dare to dream," with seven of their of their own songs and remixes from Blutengel, Accessory, and Cephalgy. On September 26, 2008 Lost Area released their second CD, "Man Machine," which was produced by Dirk Steyer. The album was listed for 8 weeks in the GEWC (German Web Electronic Charts) and reached the number one spot. "Man Machine" received great reviews and attention in both print and online magazines, as well as on web-radio stations HaZZard of Darkness, R1 Live, and Schwarze Welle. DJ promotion leading up to the upcoming release, including the clubmixes "Changes" and "Soulfoe," were a great success and were placed on the set-lists of a number of DJs in Germany and surrounding countries. Lost Area began 2009 with the production of a third album, titled "Memoria," in collaboration with producer Gerrit Thomas (Funker Vogt). With advanced sounds, ambitious lyrics, and strong production "Memoria" rose from the shadow of easy and simple electronic music. In the beginning of 2010 the label Echozone signed the band because of their enormous potential as an international act. So far, Lost Area has performed in support of: Cephalgy, Scream Silence, The Cruxshadows, And One, Project Pitchfork, Rotersand, and SITD.
