With a passion for Electronic music from a young age, Matt Davey has found his passion in Trance music in all it's forms and has really stepped up his game in recent times both as a DJ and an accomplished producer. In 2012 one of the biggest icons in modern dance music, Armin van Buuren, signed Matt to his highly acclaimed "A State of Trance" record label, the tracks "Nemesis" & "Evolution" are already being highly anticipated by the Trance community and are scheduled to released in the very near future. "Driven by the darker, harder side of trance music, we find UK producer Matt Davey on the rise. The young talent makes his A State of Trance debut with the 'Nemesis' E.P. Matt also shows great diversity in his productions and Summer 2012 will also see Matt's stunning vocal collaboration with Lo-Fi Sugar entitled "Higher Ground" which will be released on Amsterdam Trance Records which is another hugely respected Dutch label run by the immensely talented Producer / Songwriter Raz Nitzan who has been responsible for countless Trance anthems over the years. Early Feedback has been extremely positive with Raz describing the release as follows... "Matt Davey delivers a massive vocal candy with his upcoming single "Higher Ground". Not one to be complacent, Matt's open minded studio approach keeps the momentum going with the massive Uplifting Trance release "Elise!" Which will again be released on Infinity records run by Jon O'Bir, one of the true ambassadors of the UK Trance movement. Following these releases, Matt also has further releases lined up on Activa's forward thinking Borderline Music label. The tracks entitled Slipstream and New Hope are scheduled for release in the next few months. His previous release "Castaway" which was a sublime Progressive tinged trancer selected by dance music legends Cosmic Gate for the famous Ministry of Sound "Trance Nation" compilation album, which was a personal 2012 highlight for Matt. Having spent time learning his craft in the studio environment, Matt has truly come into his own with his productions and this is showcased with the A List support from many top artists in the trance spectrum. His previous productions Back in the Day, Skylines, Apocalypse and his remix of The Dirt Devils classic "The Drill" gained him huge global support, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold to name just a few. Matt has a very imaginative production spectrum, which also sees him release other styles of music under the Mike Delta Progressive House alias. His first tracks "Voodoo Magic" and "The Blacklist" back in 2010 gained big international support and 2011 brought his first top 10 hit with "Game Over" reaching 7th place in the Progressive House charts. Matt's radio show 'Dynamic Sessions' is rapidly gaining a large international following, broadcasting monthly on Afterhours.FM - one of the biggest Electronic Dance Music communities online. On the DJing front Matt plays a very driving energetic style, which when combined with seamless harmonic mixing never fails to move any dancefloor. In recent years Matt has showcased his talents for many leading brands, including regular peak time sets with Gatecrasher to warm up sets at Digital Society. With a wealth of productions set for this year already, It looks like this will be the year for Matt to be one of the most promising Trance artists of 2012. Watch this space.
