About Nana Mizuki
Nana Mizuki (水樹 奈々, Mizuki Nana), born January 21, 1980 as Kondō Nana (近藤奈々), is a popular Japanese pop singer and seiyuu (voice actress). She's currently the best-selling seiyuu and also the first seiyuu to top the Oricon Weekly Charts. Born and raised in Niihama, Ehime, Japan, she was trained as an enka singer. In 1993, she released a Compact Cassette single "Tsugazakura" under the name of "Kondo Nana". She made her debut as a voice actress in 1998 and released her debut single "Omoi", on December 6, 2000 under the King Records label. A year later, she released her debut album, Supersonic Girl, on December 5, 2001. On June 3, 2009, she released her 7th album, Ultimate Diamond, which peaked at No. 1, and a few months later, her 21st single Phantom Minds, released on January 13, 2010, also charted at No. 1, becoming the first seiyuu to top the weekly Oricon albums chart and the weekly Oricon singles chart since its inception in 1968. On January 21, 2011 which was also her 31st birthday, she released her first autobiography, titled "Shin Ai" to commemorate 10th year anniversary of her singing career. Mizuki Nana won Top Pop Artists award in Billboard Japan Music Awards 2010 and on March 3 2012, Mizuki Nana won Animation Artist of the Year 2011 award in Billboard Japan Music Awards 2011.
