About Nick Santino
Nick Santino (born July 28th, 1988) spent over five years touring the globe with his band, A Rocket to the Moon. Prior to parting ways in August of 2013, the band signed to a major label, had a solid radio hit, and spent months on the road with many big name acts. Not ready to walk off the stage forever, Santino began working on music under the name Nick Santino and The Northern Wind. In this short time, he has written, recorded and self-released two EPs - both which are entirely stripped down and raw compared to his previous project's discography. Being on his own again has given Santino the creative freedom he began to miss as A Rocket To The Moon grew in popularity. The songs he is releasing under the new name are as honest as they get. "A lot of heart and soul went into this new project. Honesty is one of the most important things in music, in my opinion. It's also the hardest and most rewarding thing to write." Santino says of the new songs. His latest EP, The Ones You Meet Along The Way peaked at #4 on the iTunes singer/songwriter charts and wowed listeners around the world with soft guitars and heart wrenching lyrics. Starting with his debut full length solo album, Big Skies (2014), Santino decided to release the new music under his own name rather than "...& the Northern Wind" so suggest a correction for Nick Santino.
