About November Grief

November Grief was the name of an all-female death metal band from Canada. They formed during November of 1993, under the name Mistrust. The creators of Mistrust were Annie on drums and Stephanie on vocals (ex-Burninflesh). After going through difficulties finding others to play the style of music they enjoyed, Stephanie decided to take on the task of playing bass. When they met with Vero, the guitarist, they also changed the name of the band to November Grief, according to the band, this name fit the music better.
