About Particles Like Planets

Particles Like Planets is an indie rock band from Hemet, California, originally composed of members Cody Vanhoozen, Tyler Shippy, Kenny Finn, Shawn Callahan, and Jace Whitaker. In the spring of 2012, Jace was replaced by Joseph Espinosa. Their debut album, The Owl in the Archer, was released on the memorable day of November 11, 2011 (11/11/11). Though not specifically labeled a Christian band, the members themselves profess to be Christians, and their themes and lyrics proclaim this openly. Their music has been featured on radio stations such as KROQ 106.7 (Pasadena, CA) and KIOZ 105.3 (San Diego, CA), and they have been mentioned once in Alternative Press Magazine and several times by The Press Enterprise.
