About Plans & Apologies
Plans & Apologies are an indie pop group from derby, england. In June 2011 they released a brand new album titled "Soz" which is available from their Bandcamp http://plansandapologies.bandcamp.com/ They released their debut album "Torn Out Pages From the Middle Agez" on artists against success in January 2003. This was followed by "The Tree Dee Pee EP" in April 2005. The band have seven members, resulting in a richly-layered guitar pop sound on many of their songs. The NME has described them as combining 'gorgeous lo-fi pop' and 'mental, near-metal riffage'. In March 2006, they released a single on exercise1 Records, entitled "Spiderz In The Bar (Part II)". The band made their out-of-print debut album available for free download from their website along with a free download only EP "The Free Dee Pee EP". The band have recently set up their own label called pandaz pop and released a new EP entitled "Wirez, Man!" on the label on 30th October 2006. They then released the album "The Bassett Hound and the Icy Ground" in 2008, which has been followed by "Soz", a posthumously released (yet entirely brand new) album, available here http://plansandapologies.bandcamp.com/ Thealbum was also available on CD, however this run was extremely limited with only 25 copies being produced. Plans & Apologies love shoes & meat.
