About Principe Valiente

Principe Valiente member are : Fernando Honorato vocals, electric bass, keyboards & piano Alexander Lehto guitars Joakim Janthe drums & percussion Principe Valiente out of Stockholm has been around since 2005. Their unique sound is best placed somewere in between shoegaze and post punk. Songs from the bands eponymous 2007 EP has been played on radio and by dj:s in Germany, France and Spain. It also received very fine reviews in Canada and Germany. Principe Valiente is currently working on their next album. Enjoy. Review by Fazer Magazine nr 6 Principe Valiente self released Based out of Stockholm, Principe Valiente have a fresh sound, and have four tracks on this EP that suggest they could be a major player should they land a record deal. Fernando sings with a bit of a low monotone that hints at a love of Ian Curtis and Interpol. 'Speed Of Light' is a lengthy track (almost 6 minutes) that starts off with a simple guitar intro, and morphs into a very vocal track, filled with both atmosphere and ambition. EP's like this really deserve to find an audience, and I'm glad I wound up on Honorato's radar. I go back to the 4 tracks on this little independent release as often as some of the bigger name CDs I've been playing in the past two months. Principe Valiente's music is both timely, and well crafted. Pop by their myspace and play some of these songs. You'll be impressed.
