About Psycore
How great were Psycore - so so great is the answer. Sounding like a glorious collision between Frank Zappa, Parliament and the HEAVIEST of heavy metal they made two fantastic albums for V2. The fact that they weren't empty brained mutton heads and that they were such great players was probably at the root of the reason they never broke through to a bigger Rock audience. Music, lyrics and arrangements for metalheads with brains and a developed sense of humour was never going to deliver them the biggest market in the world I guess. They were, in fact, nothing like the bands named under 'similar artists'. Markus Jaan (lead singer) had this to say about Psycore: The music we make is really hard and dynamic. If Psycore is like a film, it's like 'Blade Runner'. That film has the same elements we have in our music. It has depth, action and it's futuristic. When 'Blade Runner' came out it set standards for its genre, and that's what we aim to do with Psycore. Psycore disbanded some time after the second album.
