Meet people through music
Rafael Castro has come to save the world. Musically, at least. He lives in the small town of Lençóis Paulista, Brazil and matches up his notes and lyrics in a way everyone has thought of before, but has never managed to actually do. Ironic and naive at the same time, he might even make your eyes tear. Born in 1985, he started his musical studies on the piano as a small kid, and has been composing since then, although he only became a full-time musician after dropping out of college a few years back. His newest CD "Amor, Amor, Amor" talks about love in common day situations with great wit and sarcasm, that'll make you want to drink a can of beer and karaoke all the songs with your friends. His current band, Rafael Castro e os Monumentais will continue playing his songs, but now with a bigger public range. They plan on playing small gigs here and there and gathering new fans, and dream of maybe one day playing big gigs all over the place. Marquis de Sade meets Groucho Marx and what is left is the music of Rafael Castro - the future secret envy of all the top brazilian musicians."
