Meet people through music
Rein Sanction was born in the early 1980s in Jacksonville, Florida. First formed by two brothers (Mark and Brannon Gentry) and a friend (Ian Chase), the band grew through several phases and endured an extraordinary following for several years. Extraordinary not necessarily by numbers, but by spirit and by the connection fans had with the band and the music. They joined a number of other bands on the threshold of a revolution of creativity in music. In my mind, Sanction stood as a unique and authoritative voice amid the fury. As new generations discover these sounds, I can only predict that Sanction's roots will grow stronger and more influential than ever. All alumni of Rein Sanction were (and still are) incredible artists and musicians. Their music captured the spirit of the live electricity reminiscent of early rock, blues and jazz - combined with a whole lot of soul. Like the early jazz artists, Rein Sanction also searched for revelation in their music - what was and still is an introspective exploration of the condition of the heart of man.
