About Relentless Flood
Relentless Flood is a Christian rock band formed in Spruce Pine, North Carolina in 2009. The band currently consists of Marshal Huffman (lead vocals and drums), Dale Huffman (lead guitar, vocals), and Shane Koerber (bass). Relentless Flood brings a lethal combination of driving guitar riffs, intense drumming, screaming leads, and soaring melodies to accompany the powerful message that their music carries. The main focus of the band is to spread the message of grace and love that can only be found in Jesus Christ, and to encourage current believers to take a stand in their faith. This is done while providing raw, rockin' entertainment, leaving people with something great to talk about, and songs they just can't get out of their heads. Having a drummer that doubles as a lead vocalist certainly sets this band apart from the pack. Not many can do this task, much less do it well. Relentless Flood is, without a doubt, a band to keep your eye on, taking your typical Christian Rock to a whole new level. About the band members: Marshal Huffman - Marshal, age 19, is the lead vocalist and drummer for the band; a task that not many can accomplish. He has been playing music from early childhood, picking up the piano, guitar, bass, and various concert band instruments in addition to drums and singing. His experience with a variety of instruments and love for his Savior lead to his passion for writing original music, leading to the birth of Relentless Flood Shane Koerber - Shane was asked to join the band just a few weeks before their first show, when the original bassist decided he was being lead in another direction. Shane picked up the songs, and immediately gelled into the band, as he had been friends with Marshal and Dale for a long time. He's been playing near flawless performances ever since. Dale Huffman - Dale is the guitarist for the band and provides harmony vocals. Dale also co-writes many of the band's lyrics. Unique to Relentless Flood is that Dale is Marshal's father, and the duo has teamed up to write and record all of the material on the album. Accomplishments: The band recently completed their first LP, produced by Jamie King (producer of Between the Buried and Me and For Today). Relentless Flood has a good fan base and has played more than 50 shows since March of 2010 covering an area that includes Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. They have opened for national touring acts, and have played venues as large as the JE Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir, NC.
