Sanne Salomonsen (born Susanne Salomonsen December 30, 1955 in Holte) is a Danish singer, who many regard as an institution in Danish rock music, and has been nicknamed "Rock Mama" by both media and fans. She has been performing since 1975, and various songs by her band Sneakers were on the charts continuously from 1979 to 1985. She was also a member of the Anne Linnet Band. She starred as the very young in various musical performances, such as. Hair, Godspell and Touch. She recorded her first solo album as a 17-year-old. At the same time she was also active in jazz music. In 1980 she joined the band Sneakers. She has released several CD's and appeared on a wide range of country scenes. From 1979-1984 she was the couple with composer Morten Kærså. She was married twice, first with bassist Bo Stief (1975-1980), later with guitarist Mats Ronander (1985-1992) with whom she has son Victor Ray. The fifth May 2006, she became paralyzed in one arm and one half of the face after a stroke. She decided to cancel all of its events over the summer.
