About Seconds in Formaldehyde
Seconds in Formaldeyhde is the pure sound of one person playing guitar through a few effects. Creating moods and atmospheres with just one chord or one single note that stretches across time and space. Building a wall of guitar harmonics and subnotes, and letting them flow into infinity. Seconds in Formaldehyde is there for showing people the beauty of the pure guitar sound. As a musician for about five years Martin Fuhs started this ambient and guitar drone project in Arnstadt, Germany in early 2005. He recorded several demos and many drones directly to tape. In September 2006, he started working on his first longplayer, which is titled The Red Sky That Was Filled With Gloom. He stepped in contact with Gianluigi Gasparetti, the man behind the Italian label Umbra. Together they released The Red Sky That Was Filled With Gloom in November 2006 on Umbra. http://www.waterscape.de
