About Shelflife

There are at least two artists/bands with the name Shelflife. 1. A quintet from Copenhagen, Denmark. The band consists of guitarist/vocalist Christian Ankerstjerne, guitarist Jeppe Nielsson, bassist Simon Jarløv, drummer Jonas Rasmussen and vocalist Sara Henriksen. The band's music has been described as a blend of shoegaze, math-rock and post-rock. They have recorded one self-titled album, which is available here: http://shelflife1.bandcamp.com/ The album was recorded by Shelflife, mixed by Carl Amburn at the Mousetrap studio and released by the band in the beginning of 2009. 2. Shelflife is the recording project of Davin Chong. Davin has since moved on to a number of different projects. Davin released one album with The Gaia Project, entitled We All Look Beautiful. The album uses ambience and glitch soundscapes in a fresh way that is not often heard. If you are a fan of electronic music or experimental guitar music,: this is for you. Sans Arc's CMC and Trespassers William's Matt Brown both contribute to the album
