TeddyLoid Born on 1989/08/23, Japan (Age 24). On his parents' recommendation, Teddy started playing the electric organ when he was two. At age nine, he discovered human beat-boxing online and began to do research and self-instruction in beat-boxing. At age 15, he made his live debut as a professional beat-boxer. From that point on, he participated in many music arrangements and compositions. In 2008, at the age of 18, he joined Japanese solo artist 雅-MIYAVI- (@Miyavi_official) on his first world tour, where he played 33 shows in a total of 14 countries throughout Europe, South America, North America, Asia, and Japan. During this time, he played at JAPAN EXPO 08 in Paris, France, which had an attendance of 20,000 people. After that, he joined the three-person unit, SOUL'd OUT as a live DJ for their tour, as well as festivals and other live events where they performed. Aside from his work with SOUL'd OUT, he participated in the Japanese electronic festival METAMORPHOSE 08, as well as WIRE09, hosted by Takkyu Ishino from Denki Groove and several similar festivals. In 2009, he joined m-flo member ☆Taku Takahashi's label TCY Recordings. His remix of the song La La FUN by SOUL'd OUT, which was featured in "LaLaPiPo", Diggy Mo's movie, was released on Sony Music and Teddy acted as back DJ for the group's in-store live tour. He also debuted on EMI Music Japan with his remix of the electro unit LiL's song,""MOSHI MOSHI" RADIO". In 2010, he produced Sawa's (EPIC Records Japan, Inc., in association with Sony Music Entertainment) song "Planet-T" on her album "Welcome to Sa-World". From August of 2010, he participated as the DJ on SOUL'd OUT's tour, "Put your TROUSERS on". In addition, he worked under the supervision of ☆Taku Takahashi in producing the soundtrack for GAINAX's series, "Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt". The soundtrack reached #10 on the ORICON weekly album chart, #1 in the anime genre on iTunes, and #1 on Amazon's Best Seller Ranking. Furthermore, the album attained #1 in the Anime & Game section on iTunes in 2011 and attained the shining status of "Best Album" in the Anime Section in "iTunes Rewind 2011″. 2011 also brought about Teddy's remixes of both Shibasaki Kou's 20th single, "Mukei Spirit" and UK Drum 'n bass leader London Elektricity's song "ロンドンは夜8時 (London wa yoru 8ji) [LON 8PM ; TYO 4AM] featuring AMWE", which was a Japanese bonus track on their album "Yikes!". In May of 2011, he worked with the GazettE on their song, VORTEX, which debuted on its own single before being released on their album, TOXIC. On July 20th, 2011, he released a second Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt soundtrack under the name of TCY FORCE presents TeddyLoid called, "Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt "THE WORST ALBUM"". This soundtrack attained 9th on the ORICON Daily Album chart. In the fall, he, along with Shibasaki Kou and DECO*27, started the unit galaxias!, which made its debut on November 23rd, 2011 with their self-titled album, "galaxias!". In the spring of 2012, he released an original song, Take A Look, on the EP ☆Taku Takahashi Presents TCY Rec Special Pack Vol. 4. Shortly after, two of his remixes were released on Koda Kumi Driving Hit's 4. In April, two of his remixes were included on SOUL'd OUT's new single SUPERFEEL and it was announced that Teddy would be doing sound production for Yuzuka-Hime's (Niconico Nama-Housou Idol ) single, which was released July 4th, 2012. Teddy yet again collaborated with the GazettE, working on the arrangement of [XI]、DERANGEMENT、REQUIRED MALFUNCTION、DRIPPING INSANITY, and ATTITUDE on their album DIVISION, which was released August 29th, 2012. Teddy also participated in the production of SOUL'd OUT's new album, "so_mania", doing the scratching & arrangement on Unisong, Curtain Call, & VELVET ROMANCE. It is also reported that on the remix album for m-flo's SQUARE ONE, Teddy will be remixing the song "So Mama I'd Love To Catch Up, OK?".
