About Tesco Value
Tesco Value is a Scandinavian band formed in 2000 in Copenhagen, Denmark by the students of renowned Royal Danish Music Academy, with charismatic singer - Czeslaw Mozil later known for his solo work as Czesław Śpiewa as a leader. Tesco Value disbanded in 2004, however, Czeslaw decided to continue his career abroad, playing huge amount of concerts in Poland with various musicians, including ex-Tesco Value members. Today, songs originally recorded by the band are often included in setlists of Czesław Śpiewa. The band decided to reunite eventually in 2011 to play a gig during the Off Festival. Tesco Value's music is hard to define - it fuses genres such as rock, punk, ska and sung poetry, or, as Czesław puts it, "tango, pop cabaret, punk and intelligent rock."
