About The 'B' Girls
Xenia Splawinski (rhythm guitar) Cynthia Ross (bass) Locasta Ross (vocals) Renee Chetsky (lead guitar/vox) Marcy Saddy (drums) Formed in 1977 after the main member met in a washroom after a Thin Lizzy concert. Toronto's B-Girls were kind of a cross between pre-Riot Grrrls punk and 50's/60's style fun pop a la the Shangri-Las. They slit up in 1981. The re-issued CD contains remixed 7" versions of many of the songs previously unreleased and live material. Discography: Singles 1979 Fun At The Beach/'B'-Side (Bomp!)
