About The Puzzle
The Puzzle is an originally Hungarian indie 4-piece now living in London. Band Members: Ligeti Gyorgy - vocals, guitar Horvai Zsuzsanna - bass Farago Tamas - guitar James Irving - drums Alan McGee described them playing live that they are a Zeppelinesque journey with a singer like the '65 Lennon! Coming from the New Europe, they were one of the most exciting and buzzing bands in the Eastern-European region with their English songs. Their stunning debut album - released by Universal in Hungary - was one of the local indie high-points of the year of it's release, and it was followed by a massive tour in the region. But in 2004 May they deicided to give up everything and moved to London to restart their career. Since then they played tons of gigs, from Bull&Gate to the Club Fandango nights, were invited by BBC Merseyside for a live acoustic session, currently supported ZOOT WOMAN at their only 2006 London date and they are regular guests of Alan McGee's various London clubnights from Death Disco to Queen is Dead at the Borderline! 2007 February The Puzzle launched the Great-Britmania festival alongside patron Alan McGee, Ladytron and Yonderboi. www.myspace.com/thepuzzlerocks www.thepuzzlerocks.co.uk
