About The Suits
There are multiple bands known as The Suits. 1) The Suits is an electronic/indie band based out of Bronx, NY. The band formed in 2011 at Fordham University. Featuring Eddie Gore as lead singer and keyboardist, Mike Sanz as producer and drum machine player, Eric Grossman as lead guitar/instrumentalist, and Ian Grotton as Bass/instrumentalist. Their music can be described as a fusion of indie, rock, alternative, jazz, and hip hop compositions. 2) A christian rock band from Monticello, MN active from 2004-2006. They played shows around the state, even performing numerous times with Children 18:3, now signed to Tooth & Nail Records. The Suits recorded one five-song EP entitled "Prepare" which was released just before their break-up in August 2006. Their MySpace page can be found at myspace.com/thesuitsmn. 3) The Suits is a dutch fusion/modern jazz group from Amsterdam. It features Jesse Buitenhuis on guitar, Mart Jeninga on Bass, Jullian Du Perron on drums and Darius Timmer on keys. They met and formed in 2007 on the Conservatory of Amsterdam. They have a very own style which is best described as a combination between fusion, modern composition, funk and plain jazz. Their best tracks can be found on the Extension EP. It features "To Jaecques" - a beatufiul ballad by Jullian - and "Extension", which is a hard-core fusion song in a 5/4 measure.
