About Worriers

Worriers are an American melodic punk collective from Brooklyn, New York. The band's music is centred around the songwriting of the former vocalist/guitarist of The Measure (SA), Lauren Denitzio (aka Lauren Measure), who formed the band in 2011 following the demise of her former band. The band currently has no concrete line-up, with a rotating cast of guitarists, bassists and drummers working under the Worriers moniker both live and in the studio. They have released one seven-inch to date, entitled Past Lives, through No Idea Records in 2011. In May 2013, the band announced their debut album, entitled Cruel Optimist, which was released in October 2013 through Don Giovanni Records. The following month, a three-track seven-inch entitled Sinead O'Rebellion featuring three songs not on Cruel Optimist was released.
