My favourite artists

Could somebody pls explain me why someones have 11 or 16 artists in their 'My favorite artists' list but I can't add more than 8?

For example:

or

or

When I try to add more I get a message:
You can only have 8 favourite artists!
WTF?

I have exactly the same question...Why do some people get like 20 favorites and I only get 8?

Roger Dean (Yes, Uriah Heep album cover art) - this poster adorned my dormitory room wall in my mature-age college days in the late 80's. The young ones thought me weird, they were right.
