♫ What's your preferred method of discovering new music? ♫
I'm thinking of trying Last.fm. Does anyone have any recommendations on other radio stations, websites, or apps?

New releases, your recommendations, upcoming concerts...

The Rythmn method...
Oh, shit, that's not right. That relates to another fave activity. Sorry. My bad.
CDs, discogs, good friends.
- Discogs (by adding data and artist profiles, stumbling upon all sorts of projects)
- CD / LP booklets, credits and 'thanks to' or 'inspired by' kind of credits
- Sometimes I go to specific webshops operating in one country (for example: Lasering.ee for Estonia) - clicking through their Folk music and Most Recommended sections
- Friends (it's a bit of a hit or miss here, but it's always nice to hear about new artists they're interested in)
- Tastebuds (some of you actually post some interesting stuff)
- Desperately trying to remember the lyrics of that one song whilst typing it into Google hoping for a match
- Occasionaly the YouTube algorithm decides to take full control, which recently resulted in Ukranian Electro-Pop
- Some of the artist profiles on social media have this 'Artists we like' kind of thing in their profile
- Label newsletters
So it would nice if you share your discoveries posting songs on Tastebuds
On Spotify it has new releases based on your likes. I get the most and best from this site. I also use last.fm and they have people you can follow that have similar likes.
I have spotify, it suggests songs based on artists you like...I have discovered some great songs and artists this way
If you listen to Chill, Dub Reggae, world music or Left field where do you discover new tracks?
Myself find I don't need to go far beyond radio Lancashires On the Wire weekly program from UK, a fantastic program for these genre's that's been going strong for over 30 years But would be interesting to see where others gather their tracks from?

There you'll find weekly playlists going back for ever, and a link to latest program and beyond. I download old editions from Mixcloud
