i was thinking exactly the same question , I'm glad some asked this before me lol. I have tried loads of dating apps and sites not out of desperation but kind of experiment. I love this site primary due to music alone and way introduce new music and interact with similar indivduals. I am a geek( not totally) so read loads on relationship ect and into psychology and you can learn a lot about a person by what music they listen to and comments and pictures they post. I would say: have no expectations then there is no failure and if something happens its a bonus meet someone with similar interest and wants date. I was married for 21 years with 4 kids , reason I am here , my wife died of cancer and my kids independent and covid and free time. In conclusion for all those interested before I get carried away writing an easy lol. Humans have 3 types of romantic connections. 1 Anxious 2 Avoidant 3 Secure . THIS IS BASED ON SCIENCE GIVE BOOK REF INTERESTED. We learn these attachments from birth and this how we relate to the world. From my experience and history this is with no judgements or no right or wrong but a lot of individuals and I include myself are avoidant attachment style (lucky my late wife was, that's how we attracted each other) that using dating apps because easier way to connect. There is obviously more to the science than that. In summary limits dating virtual world because not knowing the other style of connection etc. In the flesh the brain is more powerful and the body sends signals magically .Book ref Attached Dr Amir Levine and Rachael Heller. I used to date jommysum in 2014, sounds like a very long time ago. I think after that I dated one guy called muldoon on here in 2016. That's about it.
Many plenty of friends on here who hang out for gigs and what not. Can't say this is a dating site if thats what you use it for.

I am interested in a long term relationship, but anyone I like seems to lived on the other side of the world. I'm happy to make friendships and meet gig buddies, but so far have not p with anyone in real life from this website.
