How to ensure home security?

I've read a lot about smart security systems on https://ajax.systems/blog/renovation-of-wired-security-system/ but I'm wondering if they're as user-friendly as they claim. Does anyone have any actual experience setting up or troubleshooting these systems? Because the idea of an attacker scenario really got me thinking. Have you tried simulating a hack to test the effectiveness of your security system? Your stories are interesting.
