Jang Geun-suk (Hangul: 장근석, Japanese (Katakana): チャン・グンソク) is a South Korean actor-singer, most known for playing Kim Eun-ho, Hwang Jin-yi's lover in the TV drama Hwang Jin-yi, and also stared in the KBS drama, Hong Gil-dong. His popularity rose even further due to his role as Hwang Tae Kyung in the SBS drama, You're Beautiful. He made his debut in 1996, as a child actor and commercial star. He released his first Japanese single "Let me cry" on 27 April 2011 by Pony Canyon. "Let me cry" debuted at number 1 on Japan's Oricon single charts, making him the first non-Japanese act to have the debut single to debut at number 1 on the charts.
