I'm in Rancho Cucamonga, and grew up pretty much around Claremont. Good to see The Press mentioned, as well as this new scene developing in Pomona. Old Town always had potential.
I agree that The Glass House might be your best bet. I pretty much grew up going to shows there and it seems to be going strong. Fox Theater is right around the corner and they have amazing line-ups as well. That whole are has amazing food. I have seen some decent shows at The Press in Claremont at at Mt Baldy Lodge but I wouldn't depend on them for a random night out. Where in the IE are you? There used to be a few good venues in Riverside, Yucaipa, and San Bernardino but I would be surprised if they're still around.
