Login trouble

I joined last night and thought it was a great idea. The execution is very sloppy and I can't deal with it.
I have to try 5 or 6 times to log in, and it has happened every time I try- and then it finally accepts the information I wrote down last night. The information is correct, but it just likes to waste my time.

Also, there is no way to delete a profile once you discover that your information is displayed publicly with zero privacy controls.

"Favorites" is misspelled, and it's right there at the top of every page. If no one bothered to check, then what other hackwork is there here? Would not be confident in handing over credit card numbers it's asking for - that's for sure.

Lastly, there isn't a woman listed within one tank of gas, let alone with similar taste in music- which is purposeless for a dating site.

I'll wish you good luck with this, but I won't stick around to see if it happens.

Hi JeffK806.

You probably won't read this, since you said that you won't be sticking around, but just for the record:

1. If you want to delete your profile, just click on "Settings", then "Account" and in the bottom right hand corner you will find the option "Delete my account".

2. You say that there are no privacy controls, but there is the "Incognito" option if you want to browse other people's profiles anonymously. This option also lets you hide your online status from other members.

3. The word "Favourites" is not mis-spelled....if you Google this, you will find that the way that it is spelt on here is the English spelling. The way you have spelt it (without the "u") is the American way. Either spelling is acceptable, but as this is an English site, it is spelt the English way on here!

4. As for credit card details....I am not sure about that. All I can say is that I have never been asked for my card details in the year or so that I've been on here. As far as I'm concerned, this is a free site....you can send + receive as many messages as you want, use the instant messenger, browse other members' profiles and use the forums, without paying anything.

Sorry to hear that you are not happy with the site. I agree with you about the "dating" issue....it seems to work better as a friendship / social networking site, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing!
