Forums Revamp
So we're thinking it's about time we gave the forums a lick of paint as it's been a while and we'd love to hear your thoughts as to what we can do:
* New Forums *
Which ones should we add? Should users be allowed to add their own forums a la Reddit and how would that be moderated? Would you divide them by topic, geography, etc?
Would it be cool for, say, an Artist to have their own Forum/Topic which we link to from the artist page? So that there can be more specific artist chat and you could maybe be notified of new topics on your favourite artists.
* Stickies *
A few people have mentioned we should add these. How do you decide which ones are Stickies etc.?
* Search *
A few people have mentioned this so should be straightforward to add.
* Post History *
Maybe it would be cool if you could see your/other user's old posts.
* Mobile *
We could do with mobile-specific forums as currently it's a bit difficult to use.
I guess one of the important things is trying to get users to interact with the forums more so any thoughts as to how we can drag more users into here would be good too ;)
