Ever tried Google+?

I remember a few years ago several of my Facebook friends wanted to get off Facebook completely and move to Google+ but in the end no one fully converted and most of them just stayed on Facebook. A social networking site has to have a lot of traffic otherwise it's not going to be much fun in my opinion.

I love Google+ but no one I know uses it, which kinda means I don't either. I've joined a lot of communities but don't habitually check new posts.

Privacy is important because it enables free-thought (studies have shown that people behave differently when being watched), so I try not to collaborate with the surveillance state, too much.
Corporate data-collection can be avoided with TOR.

I'm an alpha tester for a pending add-on in the Chrome Web Store, so I use Google+ private groups and collaborative docs to work on the project.

Certainly valuable in that regard.

yeah, found some music peeps on it and since I hate facebook and refuse to go there, it's fine.

google+ sucks lol, besides it's a backdoor. Nobody likes it. Nobody uses it. No wonder they keep shoving it in people's faces through pretty much any form of social media and/or major service, including youtube. Doesn't matter if google owns the services or not. At this point, acquisitions are irrelevant, which is sad.
